Pirates Cove Marina

Located at the foot of the Washington Baum Bridge, Pirates Cove is a full service marina with 19 boats available for Gulf Stream charter. Four boats accommodate near shore fishing trips, and one boat is for Inlet only, four people maximum. All other boats are based on a maximum of six people.

Oregon Inlet Fishing Center

Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is the home of the largest and most modern fishing fleet on the Eastern seaboard. A full service marina, Oregon Inlet offers Gulf Stream charters and excursions on the sound. The center's main store offers bait, ice, fuel, oil, camping supplies, fishing tackle, boating equipment, clothing, food, beverages and printed copies of North Carolina fishing regulations.

Avalon Fishing Pier

The Avalon Fishing Pier was built in 1958 and stretches 696 feet. Bait and rod rentals are available at the pier, which is open from 5:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. during the summer, from 6:00a.m. until around 10:00 p.m. in the spring and fall. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12.
